What is busy beer?

It's an AI taste companion for everything you drink. You rate beer, wine, cider, cocktails, spirits and sake; busy beer learns your palate, predicts how much you'll like other drinks, and can scan any menu to rank the options for you.

How does the menu scanner work?

Point your camera at a drink menu (or pick a photo). busy beer reads the whole menu, identifies and classifies each drink, and ranks every option by how much you're predicted to like it. Drinks you've already rated are pinned to your own score.

How accurate are the predicted scores?

Predicted scores are AI estimates built from your ratings — they're opinions about taste, not facts about a drink. They get better the more you rate. Always confirm ingredients, alcohol content, and allergens with the venue.

How do I sign in? Do I need a password?

busy beer uses Sign in with Apple, so there's no separate password to manage. If you use Apple's “Hide My Email,” we never see your real address.

Is my data sold or used for ads?

No. There are no ads, no third-party trackers, and we never sell your data. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

How do friends work?

Add friends with a friend code or their @handle. You'll see each other's display name and recent rating activity. You can remove a friend at any time.

Does it sync across my devices?

Yes. Because you sign in with Apple, your ratings and taste profile follow you to any device where you sign in.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account from within the app, which removes your profile, ratings, and friend connections from our backend. If you need help, email support@busybeer.app.

What devices are supported?

busy beer requires iPhone running iOS 26 or later.
